Romanticism

The Romantic influence was felt in the art, music and literature of the entire 19th century and many would argue that "romanticism" is still alive and well in many guises.  Certainly, many 20th/21st centruy cultural trends have their roots in Romantic trends, and, in many ways, "the romantic search for meaning in life" continues today.
