Come from Away is a Large Group for Helping Newcomers. The group welcomes adults of all ages and from diverse ethnic/cultural backgrounds; some hail from non-English speaking countries or from countries with no exposure to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Almost everyone left a place where they “belonged”, like so many people in Bible stories who did “come from away”.

The Come from Away format focuses on personal relationship building with interactive teaching using a variety of methods (role playing, arts, videos, etc.) and discussion in smaller groups. There is one-to-one interaction for helping folk who are not yet fluent in English. Together we are exploring, in every-day language, what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ in all our actions.

We meet in the lower level of PMC, in the room beside The Hive, and are very accessible to parents with young children.
