Automatic Debit - Sign Up Forms
Procedures | Frequently Asked Questions | Download Form Why Automatic Tithe? Automatic giving is an automatic electronic transfer program that allows you make contributions without writing cheques. This creates another convenient avenue of giving for those who call Philpott Memorial Church their home. If you have been at Philpott for any length of time, you may have noticed that we want to create giving opportunities without pressure. At the same time, we attempt to provide ways that make giving easily accessible. At Philpott we believe that tithing is a form of worship and in no way want to make it less personal. Automatic giving still allows for personal involvement and control in every aspect. We have set it up in such a way that along with choosing the amount to give, you will be able to pick which day(s) of the month you would like to tithe: the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 15th, 16th and/or 20th of each month. We also understand that things change and sometimes people wish to give less, more, etc. With a simple notification via e-mail to Philpott's Receiver, Ken Vyse, at receiver@getchurch.org or by phoning the church at (905) 527-4802, you can easily change anything you would like, including stopping automatic tithe at your convenience.
To sign up for our automatic debit program, please download and fill out the following PDF forms. When you have completed them, bring them to the church office.
