Small Groups
Our desire is to see Philpott be not just another church with small groups, but a church of small groups.
This is more than a semantic subtlety. This is the essence of our purpose: to become people who are more like Jesus. Jesus modelled life lived together with one another.
Accountability and Commitment are sometimes considered bad words in our secular society. This reaches into the church as well. Our hope is to hold the bar of expectations high, expecting God to work through us to accomplish His purposes.
If you're curious or interested in taking part, contact Val Harvey through the church office. She oversees our small group ministry and will do what she can to get you connected. She will be happy to field any questions you might have.

Adult Bible Community
If you've been attending Philpott and have not connected to an Adult Bible Community, then you're definitely missing out.
The Adult Bible Community is a place to get to know others well enough to share joys and struggles. It's like a mini-congregation or family within the larger church where real, life-enriching relationships can form and develop.
Your need to deepen your spiritual roots are met by interactive Bible study and the practical application of the Word of God to daily living.
To some people, the idea of studying the Bible can seem pretty dull. They might wonder why anyone would want to spend any time reading and discussing a book so 'out-of-touch.' In fact, many conversations spawned around topics like Good and Evil, the afterlife, or the nature of God, open up new ideas and become the basis for a stronger faith.
We have three Adult Bible Community groups at the present time.
- The first meets at 9:30 during the first service.
- The second, Life Impact,The third is part of our oXyGen college group and meets during the second service as well.

Adult Bible Community that appeals to you. You'll make friends, enjoy great food and friendship, and grow in your faith.
